ShareFollowing a triumphant sold-out performance at London’s Eventim Apollo in 2023, acclaimed Irish rock band The Saw Doctors are thrilled to announce their return to the iconic venue on Thursday, October 31st, 2024.
The eight-piece Saw Doctors will be hitting the road this summer for a packed schedule across Europe. The band’s core song writing duo, Davy Carton (lead vocals) and Leo Moran (electric guitar), will be joined by long time members Rickie O’Neill (drums), Kieran Duddy (keyboards and accordion) and Tommy Carton (backing vocals). They’ll also be welcoming back bassist Pearse Doherty, who brings his talents on bass guitar, wooden flute, and penny whistle. Rounding out the impressive line-up are acclaimed musicians Anthony Thistlethwaite (saxophone, formerly of The Waterboys) and Noelie McDonnell (guitar and backing vocals, The Whileaways).
The Saw Doctors have also unveiled their brand new single, Man In The Moon, which is now available on all platforms. Written by Leo Moran, Davy Carton, and Padraig Stevens, the track was produced by Philip Tennant at Ireland’s Grouse Lodge Studios.
The Saw Doctors’ 2023 comeback tour, following a five-year hiatus, was a resounding success, marked by sold-out shows in London, Manchester, and a powerful performance at Ireland’s Electric Picnic festival.
